It's a proven fact - people love events. What's more? They also are a prime opportunity to build your brand. No matter what your business niche is, there is an opportunity to gather your customers, clients or readers for a meaningful IRL experience, create a new source o revenue, and build community and your brand. This workshop will guide you through the process of coming up with an event focus and theme; soliciting potential partners and sponsors; and the logistical components of putting on an event.

Material That We’ll Cover:

  1. Every successful event has a defined purpose. In this session, we’ll discuss the importance of pinpointing a specific goal and how to identify a realistic mission for your event in line with the ROI objectives for your brand.
  2. Your event is only as good as the guest list. We’ll cover what you need to know about your audience and/or target market to produce an event that will resonate with them, entice them to buy tickets and/or show up, AND attract event sponsors.
  3. Cocktail party? Workshop? Luncheon? Conference? Retreat? The event format must reflect your brand goal. We’ll discuss the thought-process behind determining what kind of event works for your brand’s mission and target market.
  4. We realize that all business owners are not necessarily skilled at producing events; we’ll walk through HOW to get it all done, from sourcing vendors to venue considerations to marketing by taking a look at the logistics of hosting a successful event.
  5. Getting people to show up is 90% of the battle! The good news is that we have social media on our side. We’ll share tried-and-true social media promotion tactics that will help you to spread the word about your event organically and inexpensively.
